About Our Department

The Tualatin Police Department is an accredited, full-service professional organization, providing emergency services for the City of Tualatin and the City of Durham, with 39 sworn officers and eight non-sworn, professional staff members.

K9 Boone’s primary function will be to augment patrol as a locating tool through the detection of human odor, which includes humans and articles humans have touched.

K9 Drea is certified in heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl detection.

Onyx is trained to assist with employee wellness, victim support, crisis response, and community outreach.
